Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bilingual and bicultural. She has experience working with a variety of populations such as LGBTQ+ people, substance abusers, and survivors of violence from intimate partners. Since 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. Telehealth services are currently available for patients in the Behavioral Health. Dr. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team, which works with pregnant and post-partum women. She provides trauma-informed therapy for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma care. She provides group and individual counseling, a Medication Assisted Treatment program, referrals for special care facilities, as well as Women's Support Group. Amanda serves as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find permanent homes for homeless animals. She is committed to the Best Friends motto, Save Them All and hopes to have Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city. Amanda always strives to get the most out of every day.
